Two new residents at special economic zone of St. Petersburg

Expert council on technology development special economic zones passed business plans of two company projects to become residents of the special economic zone of St. Petersburg. These are Closed JSC Telros and Gem-Standard LLC, according to the press-service of JSC Special Economic Zone.

The volume of investment will come up to 2.2 bn rubles.

Closed JSC Telros will build an innovation technology center at Novoorlovskaya site. The company will engage in a project of development and implementation of communication, control and safety systems for critical facilities and security control complexes. The project stipulates that the company will create 1400 jobs.

Gem-Standard LLC will create a research and production facility that will engage in setting up an experimental and production complex that will development and production of nanotechnology-based innovation products from human plasma.

An agreement on engagement in technology development activity at the special economic zone is to be signed with the companies, after which they will be granted the status of residents of the special economic zone of St. Petersburg.
